As of the latest information, Thailand’s visa policy varies depending on the nationality of the traveler, the purpose of the visit, and the length of stay. Here’s a general overview of Thailand’s visa policies:
Visa Exemption: Citizens of many countries can enter Thailand without a visa for short stays (usually up to 30 days) for tourism purposes. This visa exemption can be extended once by an additional 30 days at a Thai immigration office.
Visa on Arrival (VoA): Citizens of certain countries can obtain a Visa on Arrival at specific airports and checkpoints in Thailand for a stay of up to 15 days. The VoA can sometimes be extended for 7 more days.
For those who wish to stay longer than the period allowed under the visa exemption or VoA, a tourist visa can be applied for at a Thai embassy or consulate. The standard tourist visa allows a stay of up to 60 days and can often be extended for an additional 30 days in Thailand.
For specific details based on your nationality or to apply for a visa, it’s recommended to visit the official website of the Thai embassy or consulate in your country.
